Everybody loves yo' mama. Local mover and shaker Sharon "Mama" Spell knows that. Now she wants everyone to have something for their affections. She will be bringing a lawyer to the Zenith Gallery to witness the writing of her will. Anyone who wants a "little somethin'-somethin'" can attend. Mama is also celebrating Inheritance her first solo painting exhibition in four years. Long before Spell started her "mama Cabarets" at places like the Lava Lounge, she was a painter. "Most people don't know that I have a degree in Painting and Drawing," she says. "Most people just know me as Mama: Cabaret Diva." The will writing starts at 6 p.m. Inheritance runs through Oct. 31.
